“LIFE IS WAY TOO SHORT TO SPEND ANOTHER DAY AT WAR WITH YOURSELF.”
Leslie Binch, LPC-MHSP
I achieved my dream of working in as a full-time private practice therapist in 2014 where I currently maintain an office in East Nashville, a suburb of Nashville, TN. Before I opened my practice, I worked as a Primary Therapist at the Recovery Ranch and at Integrative Life Center where I specialized in treating eating disorders, addiction and trauma. I have studied and have completed advanced trainings in Comprehensive Resource Model therapy, Level I, and II Brainspotting, as well as trainings in DBT, CBT, and currently I am training in Neuro-Affective Relational Model therapy continuing to expand my knowledge of how to heal trauma.
Personally, I have been in my own recovery for many years.
I went back to graduate school to become a therapist after seeing first-hand what an experience committing to therapy with a skilled therapist did for my life. After opening and running a successful restaurant business, and once my daughter entered high school, I was able to pursue my graduate education and counseling career.
I had a lot of help, and I have worked with amazing and talented clinicians along the way who inspired me and helped me become a healer through the art of counseling and psychotherapy.
This work is my passion.
When I am not working you may find me hiking trails, spending time with friends and family, and traveling off to my next adventure.
